From my home studio in Ipswich, I teach lessons in singing, keys/piano, acoustic guitar, ukulele, and songwriting.

Ideal for individuals who wish to take graded examinations, prepare for live performances, or those who just want to learn for fun. Lessons take place on a weekly basis and can focus on learning existing contemporary songs, mastering technical aspects, or developing original material.

Graded exams are taken through Rockschool and my students have achieved fantastic results including many distinctions from debut level through to grade 6. Several students have gone on to study music at college and university.

I hold a first-class BMus (Hons) degree in Professional Music Performance with a specialism in Contemporary Songwriting and Artist Development, and I am fully DBS checked due to my work teaching ukulele and guitar within primary schools.

My home studio is equipped with Logic recording software, quality recording equipment including Sontronics and AKG mics, and instruments including a Yamaha P45 digital piano. Please click here to find out more about my equipment, and here to read my terms and conditions.

Please get in touch to arrange a lesson time that suits you or click below to visit the FAQ page where further lesson information is noted and hopefully some of your questions may already have been answered!

What Clients Say...

"I have half hour lesson each week with Georgia, she’s very friendly and is very helpful with telling you the small bits where your going wrong or that need adjusting. She makes sure all the time you have with her is used well and I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! I am now doing one hour lessons with her and am looking forward to them."

Singer/Songwriter Recording Sessions

For those looking to develop original material to a greater extent, I offer singer/songwriter recording sessions. These sessions are available on weekday mornings on an as-when basis.

I have recorded and produced songs for several local singer/songwriters which have gone on to be played on BBC radio and posted online. For an example, please CLICK HERE to listen to Jack Linsdell's debut country single In My Country. All instruments played and recorded by myself.

It's best to get in touch to discuss your requirements, but I've included some options below for a quick guide:

  • THREE HOUR ACOUSTIC RECORDING SESSIONS

If your song is ready to go with lyrics and chords and you wish to lay down an acoustic recording (vocals/one instrument), then this session is for you. Instrument and vocals will be recorded separately and given basic production.

  • FOUR HOUR DEVELOPMENT AND ACOUSTIC RECORDING SESSIONS

This session is for those who have lyrics and/or a melody for a song but need chords added. The first two hours will be spent developing the harmony and the second two laying down an acoustic recording.

  • FOUR HOUR FULL-INSTRUMENTATION RECORDING SESSIONS

This session is to produce a full demo recording of your song. We will start by laying down an acoustic guide track, then we will develop the song by adding as many instruments as required (guitars/piano/ukulele/percussion and vocals will be recorded live; all other instruments such as drum kit/strings/brass will be produced electronically via a midi keyboard). We will then re-record vocals and basic production will be applied to each element.

Instruments can be played by you (keeping time to a metronome will be required), or if you'd prefer, I can play them.

All songs will be emailed to you in an MP3 format at the end of the session. For those wanting to produce the tracks to a higher quality such as for compiling into an EP or selling online, further mixing or vocal production sessions can be arranged. Unfortunately, I cannot offer professional track mastering as this is a very specialist skill.

My home studio is equipped with Logic recording software, quality recording equipment including Sontronics and AKG mics, and instruments including a Yamaha P45 digital piano. Please click here to find out more about my equipment, and here to read my terms and conditions.

About Me

About Me

I became involved with music when I picked up my mum's old classical guitar at 13 and realised I could put music to my poems. I then developed my craft and performed as an singer/songwriter throughout Suffolk and London until the age of 19 when I decided to upsticks and move to Guildford to study at The Academy of Contemporary Music where I graduated with a first class honours in Commercial Songwriting and Artist Development. Now back in Ipswich, I have set up my own home studio where I teach the next generation of creatives. I have experience in the creation and production of music, the performance, and the marketing sides of the industry.

Please see below for my university songwriting portfolio featuring songs in a variety of genres sung both by myself and other artists. All instruments with the exception of some on 'Thieves' were played, recorded and produced by myself.
